Vegan Christmas Menu in 3 hours

Vegan Christmas Menu in 3 hours

A delicious 5-course Christmas menu prepared in under 3 hours – easy, vegan, gluten free and incredibly delicious!

Christmas is the celebration of peace, silence and love. But most of the time it turns out differently for many families: a lot of stress to buy all the presents, decorate the apartment and prepare the Christmas dinner. That’s why I’ve put together a Christmas dinner that takes little time, consists of simple ingredients and frees you from all this stress.

I cooked the whole menu in less than three hours. Of course, you don’t have to prepare the menu in such a short time and you don’t have to cook all 5 courses. I just wanted to show that vegan cooking and preparing a Christmas dinner can be easy, quick and delicious.

Salad: Beetroot Pear Salad with walnuts

This vegan & gluten-free salad consists of green leafs of your choice (eg arugula, spinach), juicy pear slices and crunchy walnuts. It’s also topped with oven-roasted beetroot, which is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

A few mint leaves add freshness to the salad. For dressing, a vegan honey mustard dressing goes perfectly with this winter salad.

This roast needs only a few ingredients and requires only a few minutes of preparation, then it just needs to be baked in the oven until crispy. The vegan meat substitute consists mainly of chickpeas, which are fried in a pan until crispy and then lightly mashed. Roasted almonds are added for crunch, soy sauce and herbs for seasoning, and rolled oats to bind the mixture.
The roast is also topped with a simple homemade 4-ingredient barbecue sauce at the end and finished in the oven. The sauce wraps around the mixture and provides a slight spiciness & sweetness: an indescribable taste experience.

Dessert: Gingerbread Mousse

The creamy, airy mousse topped with crispy cookies and contains many winter & Christmas flavors. I am sure this heavenly dessert will convince all your guests (including non-vegans).

Vegan Christmas for everyone

Vegan can be delicious, quick & easy to prepare and not expensive! Do you want to show that to your family? Then, for example, you could say that you prepare one or two dishes for the Christmas menu and delight them with it. If the family is very open, you can of course make a completely vegan menu!
But it often doesn’t work that easy. On the other hand, if you only prepare parts of the menu vegan, they can slowly try it and are not overwhelmed. And they’ll love it!

From the bottom of my heart, I wish you Merry Christmas and holidays filled with love, relaxation and peace!
