Strawberry crumble on a plate with two scoops vegan ice cream

The perfect dessert for every occasion

Every crumble consists of only a few ingredients, which you may have already at home: fresh fruits and a base of flour, oats, vegan butter and sugar for the crispy streusel.

And the great thing is that you can use almost any fruit for this crumble, depending on the season. Whether berries, apples, pears, apricots or even a mix of all the fruits you have at home – get creative yourself and find new combinations! There’s not much you can do wrong!

A crumble of juicy fruits and a crunchy topping is really always the perfect dessert. Served with a scoop of vegan ice cream, whipped coconut cream or yogurt it warms your heart and soul!

Why you should make this recipe:

  • vegan
  • simple ingredients
  • fast preparation, also suitable for beginners
  • warming dessert for every occasion (even for a cozy evening at home!)
  • use your old fruit, which is already soft and slobbery
  • vary with different fruits according to preference
  • the tahini takes the crumble to the new level !

Easy preparation with few steps

What is tahini ?

Tahini is a paste of finely ground sesame seeds, it has a strong aromatic and nutty taste. You may know it because it’s a very important ingredient in hummus. But also in sweet dishes and desserts, this nut butter works perfect and completes the crumble !

If you’re not a fan of the taste, you can also use the same amount of vegan butter or margarine instead of the tahini – but you’ll regret it, because it tastes amazing 😉
