Healthy beetroot & red wine dip with white sesame
a simple and creamy dip
of spicy beetroot and aromatic red wine,
sprinkled with white sesame seeds - prepared in only 10 minutes

- ½ onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- olive oil
- 250 g beetroot cooked and peeled
- 100 ml red wine if desired a vegan wine
- 1 lime or ½ lemon
- salt, pepper if desired caraway
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
Coarsely chop the onion and garlic cloves and fry them lightly in a pan with a little olive oil.
Coarsely chop the beetroot and mix it with fried onion and garlic, red wine, lime juice and spices in a strong mixer for 3 minutes to create a creamy and fine dip.
Sprinkle the dip with some white sesame seeds and season to taste, for example with some lime juice or fresh herbs.
