Sugarfree Granola with nuts (vegan recipe)

Crunchy granola with nuts and big chunks - sweetened without sugar, but with applesauce. Healthy, vegan granola, easy and quick to make yourself for a fresh start to the day.

Ingredients

  • 180 g rolled oats
  • 20 g chia seeds
  • 50 g almonds
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • 50 g coconut oil melted
  • 150 g apple sauce
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 30 ml vegan milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius or 302 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a bowl, mix the melted coconut oil and the applesauce. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix everything so that the dry ingredients are mixed with the applesauce mixture.
  • Spread the mixture with an angled palette on a baking sheet with a baking paper. While doing so, press the mixture together a bit to create large crunchy pieces.
  • Bake the granola in the oven until brown and crisp: for about 40 minutes. During the baking time, you should turn the granola at least twice and mix it up a bit.
  • Let cool completely and enjoy, or store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
